"Muzzle law" reform: neo-judges barred from disciplinary cases
A draft reform aimed at reversing the effects of Poland's so-called "muzzle law" would strip neo-judges of the right to hear disciplinary cases. Judges welcome the direction of the changes but criticise the government's slow pace and the exclusion of neo-judges itself, calling it segregation. The reform targets provisions seen as a tool of political control over the judiciary.
