Fitch to review Poland's credit rating Friday — A- likely to hold
Rating agency Fitch is set to announce a new credit assessment of Poland on Friday. Poland currently holds an A- rating with a negative outlook. mBank analysts say it is too early for a change, while ING Bank Śląski does not rule out a downgrade. ING chief economist Rafał Benecki argued that a downgrade could paradoxically be a positive signal, pushing the government toward greater fiscal discipline.
