Comcast Xfinity plans to use your home Wi-Fi as a motion detector

Comcast has unveiled Xfinity Shield, a service combining cybersecurity and home security that uses a home's existing Wi-Fi signal as a motion sensor. The system can detect movement inside a home without the need for extra cameras or sensors. The technology raises privacy questions, as it continuously monitors activity within the home network.
