Poland plans sirens and silenced-phone alerts before Russian missiles cross the border

Poland's Ministry of Interior and Administration is planning a major overhaul of the public air-raid warning system. Under the proposals, sirens would be activated while a Russian missile is still over Ukrainian territory, and alerts would override the silent mode on mobile phones.
