Russia attacks Kyiv, Poland scrambles fighter jets

In the early hours, after 3 a.m., Russia launched an air strike on Kyiv. Poland's Operational Command of the Armed Forces announced the scrambling of military aircraft over Polish airspace in response to the activity of Russian long-range aviation striking Ukrainian territory.
