Over 100 dead after goldmine collapse in Central African Republic
A landslide caused an artisanal goldmine to collapse on Tuesday afternoon in the village of Zamboye, western Central African Republic, roughly 50 km from the town of Baboua near the Cameroon border. More than 100 people have died, and local officials warn the death toll is likely to rise as recovery efforts continue.
