Anti-corruption agents raid Jelenia Góra city hall over flood relief payouts
Agents from Poland's Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) entered Jelenia Góra's city hall on Wednesday to examine documentation of flood relief payments made to victims of the 2024 floods. The investigation was triggered after the Karkonosze Regional Development Agency disbursed funds to companies that could not have suffered flood damage. City hall's spokesperson confirmed that over 200 certificates had been issued.
