Trump nominates anti-abortion-pill doctor to lead the FDA

Donald Trump has nominated Dr. Heidi Overton to lead the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Overton previously pushed for the FDA to restrict access to abortion medication and called the overturning of Roe v. Wade "a huge victory for life." Her nomination requires Senate confirmation.
