Dulles Airport's mobile lounges to survive until the mid-2030s

The iconic mobile lounges at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) will remain in service until at least 2034. Operator MWAA must first build a new connector between the historic Eero Saarinen-designed terminal and Concourse A-B and extend the underground AeroTrain before the vehicles can be retired. The projects are part of a broader $19.9 billion airport redevelopment programme.
