Hungary's Paks nuclear plant avoids shutdown as Danube levels stabilise

Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar announced that the Paks nuclear power plant will avoid a full shutdown, with previously idled turbines set to restart as early as Sunday. The plant had been threatened by critically low water levels in the Danube, which is required for reactor cooling. Magyar described the situation as an example of "wonderful solidarity."
