End of a mining era: Jastrzębie shaft tower blown up with dynamite
The Jas II shaft tower in Jastrzębie-Zdrój was demolished on Wednesday using more than 50 kg of dynamite. Preparations for the controlled explosion took around two weeks. The demolition marks the completion of above-ground infrastructure removal at the Jas-Mos – Jastrzębie III mine, carried out by the Mine Restructuring Company.
