Liberia agrees to take in 1,200 third-country deportees from the US
Liberia's government has agreed to accept 1,200 third-country nationals deported by the United States who cannot be returned to their countries of origin. The first group of 20 people was due to arrive in Monrovia on Thursday. The Trump administration has been seeking partner countries willing to take in such deportees.
