Polish hospital fined 134,000 zł for performing procedure out of turn for senator's son

Poland's National Health Fund (NFZ) refused to waive a fine imposed on a hospital in Aleksandrów Kujawski, which performed a medical procedure out of turn for the son of Senator Tomasz Lenz. The case was exposed by the news outlet Wirtualna Polska. The hospital must pay a total of 134,000 zł and has already paid the first instalment.
