Vatican removes Italian priest who sheltered migrants at his parish

The Vatican has removed priest Massimo Biancalani from pastoral duties in two parishes in Pistoia, Tuscany. He became well-known for sheltering large numbers of migrants at his rectory and inside the church itself. The decision was reported by Italian news agency ANSA.
