Żurek: Święczkowski's ABW may have run operations against the ECHR

Waldemar Żurek announced that he will thoroughly investigate whether Poland's Internal Security Agency (ABW), under then-director Bogdan Święczkowski, conducted covert operations against the European Court of Human Rights. Żurek declared that "the time of Święczkowski's accountability is coming." The matter concerns a potential abuse of power by intelligence services under the previous government.
