NASA photos show 18-metre crater on Moon made by SpaceX Falcon 9 debris

NASA has released images of a crater that formed on the Moon on 5 August after a piece of SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket struck the lunar surface. The crater measures approximately 18 metres in diameter and 3 metres in depth. The photograph was captured by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, currently in orbit around the Moon.
