Comcast WiFi routers can now detect movement inside your home

Millions of Comcast WiFi routers have gained a motion-detection feature promoted as an added layer of home security, using wireless signals to track movement inside the house without cameras. The technology is built into existing hardware and does not require an extra device. Privacy advocates have already raised concerns about how the data may be collected and used.
