Poland's income tax reform to cost 10 billion zloty — analysts say other levies will rise to cover it
Analysts at Erste Bank Polska estimate that the Polish government's proposal to raise the upper income tax threshold from 120,000 to 130,000 zloty will cost around 10 billion zloty per year. They warn the shortfall will be covered by increases in other levies, meaning some taxpayers may end up paying more elsewhere despite the PIT relief.
