CFTC imposes 5-year trading ban on ex-FTX and Alameda executives

The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has imposed 5-year trading bans on former executives of FTX and Alameda Research via consent orders. The move closes the regulator's case after FTX and Alameda agreed to $12.7 billion in disgorgement and restitution payments in August 2024.
