US sanctions ICC chief; EU calls the move "unjust"

The United States imposed sanctions on the International Criminal Court's chief judge and another senior official. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa expressed support for the ICC on Wednesday, calling Washington's move unjust.
