PIT reform: higher second tax bracket won't benefit most Poles before the election
The Polish government has proposed a new PIT rate and an increase to the second income tax threshold, but according to money.pl, most Poles will not feel the benefit before October's parliamentary elections. Many taxpayers only reach the second bracket in November or December, meaning the relief will arrive too late to be felt before the vote. The Finance Ministry's plan also raises several other legal and fiscal questions.
