Ukraine's parliament approves Yevhen Khmara as new defence minister after Fedorov's sacking

Ukraine's parliament, the Rada, approved Yevhen Khmara as the new defence minister on Wednesday, replacing the sacked Mykhailo Fedorov. Fedorov's dismissal had triggered nationwide protests. Andrii Sybiha, taking the post for the third time, was also confirmed as the new head of Ukrainian diplomacy.
