HSBC and Standard Chartered complete first live transaction on Swift's 24/7 settlement ledger

HSBC and Standard Chartered executed the first live cross-border banking transaction on Swift's new 24/7 settlement ledger as part of a pilot project. Swift is testing real-time settlement in a bid to stay relevant as stablecoins and tokenized deposits gain wider global adoption.
