Polish government gives Meta 7 days to explain fake ads featuring Brzoska

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitalisation Krzysztof Gawkowski has sent a letter to Meta demanding detailed data on fraudulent ads in Poland and an explanation of what the company has done about fake advertisements using the image of Rafał Brzoska. Meta has seven days to respond. Gawkowski wrote: "There is and will be no consent to a situation in which Meta profits from running the ad while the fraudster profits from the victim."
