Poland raises tax-free threshold to PLN 130,000 — how much will average earners gain?

Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced plans to raise Poland's tax-free threshold to PLN 130,000 and introduce a new PIT income tax bracket. For a person earning around PLN 5,000 gross per month, the change means savings of several hundred zlotys a year. The reform is expected to benefit approximately 3.5 million taxpayers.
