Tusk unveils PIT reforms: second tax threshold rises to 130,000 PLN, new 24% rate from

Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced an income tax reform: the second PIT threshold will rise from 120,000 PLN to 130,000 PLN per year, while a new 24% rate will be introduced for incomes between 130,000 and 150,000 PLN. The changes are set to take effect from and, according to the government, will benefit the growing middle class. Millions of taxpayers are expected to gain from the new rules.
