Poland's CBA raids Jelenia Góra city hall over post-flood certificate fraud probe
Agents from Poland's Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) entered Jelenia Góra's city hall to examine the procedure for issuing certificates to businesses that claimed flood-relief support following the 2024 floods. The operation follows reports of irregularities published by Wirtualna Polska and is part of an investigation the bureau has been conducting for several months. The certificates were a prerequisite for receiving public financial assistance after the disaster.
