Tax threshold changes: 3.5 million Poles to gain up to PLN 300 a month

Planned changes to Poland's tax scale — a new rate and a shift in the second threshold — are set to benefit 3.5 million people. Tax adviser Piotr Juszczyk of inFakt calculates that a salaried employee will gain at most PLN 300 per month. Those on flat-rate taxation (ryczałt) will lose out; Juszczyk calls the reform a "reshuffle" rather than a genuine tax cut.
