Tusk on deficit: it's our headache, but we won't raise taxes
Prime Minister Donald Tusk acknowledged that the high budget deficit is a serious government headache, blaming debt accumulated under the PiS administration. He pledged that planned tax changes will not increase the deficit or accelerate state borrowing. The government is working on a new tax scale while maintaining a cautious fiscal stance.
