Tusk confirms: tax threshold rises to 130,000 PLN, new 24% rate introduced
Prime Minister Donald Tusk confirmed on Wednesday a reform of Poland's personal income tax: the upper threshold of the 12% band will rise from 120,000 to 130,000 PLN, and a new intermediate rate of 24% will be introduced between the current 12% and 32% rates. The changes are planned for and would cut taxes for those earning between 120,000 and roughly 150,000 PLN annually. Tusk also admitted that raising the tax-free allowance in the coming years is unlikely.
