How much will you save under Poland's new PIT? Calculations for various salaries
Poland's government plans to introduce a 24% PIT rate and raise the 12% threshold to 130,000 PLN per year. Tax adviser Piotr Juszczyk from InFakt calculated for TVN24 that the changes will bring real tax cuts for those earning between 120,000 and roughly 150,000 PLN annually. Earners above that band will pay 24% instead of 32% on the excess until they reach the top rate.
