Tusk proposes new 24% PIT rate and raised 130,000 PLN tax threshold

Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced plans to raise the PIT tax threshold from 120,000 to 130,000 PLN and introduce a new 24% rate for incomes between 130,000 and 150,000 PLN per year. Incomes above 150,000 PLN will continue to be taxed at 32%. The changes, expected to affect around 3.5 million taxpayers, would be funded partly by higher corporate tax on the largest companies.
