Tusk: Romanowski likely hiding in Transnistria under Russian protection

Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a Wednesday press conference that authorities are monitoring the whereabouts of former Deputy Justice Minister Marcin Romanowski, whom he linked with "almost 100 percent" certainty to Transnistria. Tusk noted that while Transnistria is formally part of Moldova, Russia effectively controls the territory. He described the case as complex given the territory's unique political status.
