Lawyer: Romanowski's return from Transnistria hinges on politics, not law
Lawyer Mariusz Paplaczyk stated that any move to bring PiS MP Marcin Romanowski back from Transnistria would be politically rather than legally driven, as there is no established legal framework for such a transfer. He added that if an exchange were to take place, it would amount to a "legal and procedural defeat" for the Polish side. Transnistria's unrecognised status makes any formal extradition procedure effectively impossible.
