Supreme Court overturns acquittal of four KGHM employees accused of defrauding 500,000 zloty

Poland's Supreme Court overturned an acquittal by the Wrocław Court of Appeal in a case involving four KGHM employees accused of fraudulently claiming 500,000 zloty for overtime work that was never carried out. A first-instance court had originally convicted the defendants, but the appeal led to their acquittal. The case will now return to the Court of Appeal for reconsideration.
