Wanda Traczyk-Stawska: we must forgive Germany — hatred is no way to live
Wanda Traczyk-Stawska, a veteran of the 1944 Warsaw Uprising, spent her life calling for reconciliation with Germany, even as nationalist sentiment grew across Europe. Her courage extended from the battlefield to outspoken public advocacy for Polish-German reconciliation.
