Poland's HICP inflation above EU average — Romania leads, Sweden and Czechia lowest

Eurostat published final HICP inflation data for the eurozone and the wider EU, showing that price growth in the euro area accelerated slightly and exceeded the ECB's target for the fifth consecutive time. Poland's HICP inflation came in above the EU average. Romania recorded the highest reading in the bloc, while Sweden, Czechia and Hungary were among the lowest.
