Colombian activist expelled from US after criticising Trump-backed candidate

Beto Coral, a well-known Colombian activist living in the US, travelled to Florida ahead of Colombia's presidential election to warn fellow Colombians against voting for far-right candidate Abelardo de la Espriella, whose candidacy was endorsed by Donald Trump. He held banners outside Miami polling stations warning that the millionaire lawyer would "help deport all of you." Following his protest, Coral was forced to leave the United States.
