Meta in court over children's addiction to Facebook and Instagram

A trial stemming from a major lawsuit brought by multiple US states against Meta has begun in the United States. The company is accused of deliberately hooking children on Facebook and Instagram. Meta argued in court that social media addiction does not exist as a recognised condition.
