Defence appeals mushroom murder conviction citing 'catastrophic' hotel mix-up at trial

The defence team of Erin Patterson, convicted of killing relatives with a beef Wellington laced with toxic mushrooms, has appealed her conviction. Lawyers argued before the appeal court that a "catastrophic" hotel mix-up during the trial undermined the integrity of the proceedings. Patterson was found guilty of the murders at a family lunch.
