Minister Motyka: Nawrocki's veto of fuel windfall tax will raise petrol prices from September
Energy Minister Miłosz Motyka accused President Karol Nawrocki of acting against the state's interests after his decision on the bill taxing windfall profits of fuel companies. The minister said the move was the result of lobbying by fuel corporations and will lead to higher petrol prices at filling stations from September. Motyka stated the president sided with corporations rather than Polish drivers.
