Fake waste trading and forged recycling documents plague Poland's waste management sector

Waste in Poland often disappears only from paperwork, not in reality, according to an investigation by TVN's Superwizjer programme. Fictitious waste trading and forged recycling documents are leading to illegal dumps, soil contamination with toxins and burning landfills. The criminal scheme has been operating for years on a nationwide scale.
