Karen Mulder returns to Vogue cover after 20+ years of silence
Karen Mulder, a top model and icon of the 1990s, returns to the cover of German Vogue at age 57. In 2001 she publicly accused powerful men in the fashion industry of sexual abuse and was swiftly silenced. Photographer Helmut Newton had described her as one of the most beautiful women in the world.
