Minister's social assistant received 170,000 zł for beauty salon renovation — Siemoniak distances himself
Jolanta Trytko-Warczak, chairwoman of the Nysa city council and social assistant to Interior Minister Tomasz Siemoniak, received over 170,000 zł in flood-relief funds to renovate her beauty salon. Siemoniak, speaking on the Graffiti programme, said social assistants "are not my employees" and announced he is abandoning the scheme entirely. The case has raised questions about the appropriateness of awarding such a large sum for renovating a private commercial premises.
