Catholic Schools NSW chief wiped phone data after giving evidence to corruption inquiry
Dallas McInerney, CEO of Catholic Schools NSW, admitted to the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) that he performed a factory reset on his work phone and iPad over the weekend following his initial testimony. He denied wiping the devices to destroy evidence, claiming he acted on a security warning from his bank. The reset occurred amid an ICAC investigation into alleged corruption involving NSW Liberal Party figures.
