Europe's largest semi-desert nature reserve ablaze in northern Serbia

A large wildfire has broken out in the Deliblato Sands nature reserve in northern Serbia, the largest semi-desert area in Europe. Hundreds of firefighters are battling the blaze in difficult weather conditions. Experts warn that ecological recovery of the valuable habitat could take many years.
