US and South Korea cut annual military drills from 11 to five days

The United States and South Korea have cut this year's Ulchi Freedom Shield joint military exercise from 11 days to five, following an order from Donald Trump. Seoul confirmed the reduction in the scope of the drills. The annual exercise is a cornerstone of the two countries' defence alliance in the face of the North Korean threat.
