ZUS chief: burnout and sick leave abuse are a real problem

ZUS president Liwiusz Laska told Interia Biznes that sick-leave abuse is becoming a real problem, though not all alarming public claims are backed by statistical data. ZUS is launching a programme to counter occupational burnout. Laska also discussed the ongoing dispute with trade unions, employment activity among pensioners, and cooperation with the National Labour Inspectorate.
