Fauci adviser David Morens pleads guilty to hiding records and defrauding government
David Morens, a longtime senior adviser to former NIAID director Anthony Fauci, pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges of evading Freedom of Information Act requests and defrauding the government. He admitted to conspiring with at least one other person to knowingly circumvent public disclosure laws. Morens also admitted to using his official influence to advance the interests of a specific private company.
