Russian drone strike knocks Ukrainian thermal power plant offline

Russia attacked Ukraine with 76 Shahed drones, seriously damaging a thermal power plant in central Ukraine and forcing it to halt operations. The main target area was the Kyiv region, where an air-raid alert was declared for the ninth time in a single day. Explosions were heard in the capital, local authorities reported.
